More Fun In Travelling

Getting Rich is Like Exercising by Alvin Ico

Getting Rich

One of the worst things that can happen to you is finding yourself severely overweight; you get frustrated, especially during summer, because you cannot fit into your swimsuit like you used to.

One day, you finally decide to take action and go to the gym. But like what most people do, you push yourself to the limit, get exhausted and expect to see results in a week. Because you did not get the results you want, you quit and go back to your usual routine.

The example above best illustrates our habits with regards to money. Just like exercising, even if you spend 24 hours at the gym today, you will not immediately achieve the figure that you want. It is better to do 10 minutes of exercise every day.

The key here is consistency. Small efforts, combined with persistence and consistency, will accumulate over time, and you will see the long-term results.

For instance, studying the subject of money, attending a seminar or reading a book today doesn’t mean you will get rich tomorrow or next week. Again, the secret is consistency. Studying is a lifelong process. The more you know about the subject, the more money you can make, and the richer you become.

Businessman and motivational speaker Robert Kiyosaki said, “Proper physical exercise increases your chances for health. Proper mental exercise increases your chances for wealth. Laziness decreases both health and wealth.”

So instead of spending too much time watching television, read financial books and start exercising your brain. Stop making excuses and get to work. Be healthy and wealthy!
